Ein kräftiges, aber süffiges dunkles Landbier, dessen traditioneller Charakter durch seinen hohen Stammwürzegehalt von 12,6 % unterstrichen wird (Exportbier!).
Gebraut nur mit dunklem Malz in einem aufwändigen Maischverfahren. Kräftig im Trunk, angemessene Bittere und ein angenehmes Röstaroma. Ein Dunkles, wie es sein soll!

Bottle. Dark brown color. Malt, cacao and milk chocolate in the aroma. Malty sweet flavor with caramel and cacao, the hides the presence of a limited amount of flowery hops. Medium bodied, but this beer was dryer than expected. Malty roastbitter aftertaste.

Bottle 50 cl. Clear orangey brown with an off-white head. Aroma of roasted malt. Medium-bodied, roasted malts, pumpernickel and burned caramel. Finishes dry. 030409

Bottle 50cl.Clear medium to dark amber color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, caramel, sugar, light roasted. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. Bottled. An amber beer with an off-white head. The aroma is sweet malty with dusty notes. The flavor is sweet malty wtih notes of caramel, leading to a dry finish.

Bottled. A dark amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with strong notes of caramel, and so is the flavor, leading to a dry and lightly bitter end.

Bottle, 5.1%. Weak vinous aroma. Clear brown colour. Very small head. The flavour is roasted and slightly creamy, vinous hint. Mild and flavourful.

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and deep amber, golden with a small off-white head. Dry roasted malt aroma. Roasted and breadish malt flavoured. Lasting sweet, roasted and breadish flavoured finish. Balanced with a light hoppy touch.

bottle from pivnizub, Danke! Clear chestnut-brown colour, large beige head. Malty nose. Full-bodied, malty with flavours of caramel and toffee. Slightly hoppy in the lingering finish. Very nice indeed!

Bottle, warm thanks to pivnizub. Red chestnut, big golden lacing ftoth. Houneyroasted almond aroma with a light metallic edge. Solid mouthfeel, sweet fruity groundwork, berries, light roasted nuts, well balanced and aromatic. Roast retronasal. Lovely!

Bottle: Clear, chestnut-amber coloured, big persistent fluffy beige head; moderate nutty nose with shy hops underneath; light to moderate sweet-bitter flavour, almost medium bodied, soft, creamy MF; some hops detectable in the mild malty bitter finish and nuts in the aftertaste. A mild, but well balanced and pleasant Dunkel..............

Bottle: Deep amber coloured, quite firm fluffy and lacing yellowish head; malty and caramelly and a bit toasted aroma; rather light bodied, moderate sweet-bitter flavour; roast-malty bitterness in the dry malty finish. A very pleasant franconian Dunkel.......
