Collaboration with Magic Rock Brewing. Seasoned with classical American Chinook and Cascade hops, Freakshow has a resinous and bitter classic West Coast profile.

It shows citric and herbal notes on nose, with a light copper color. Rye added some body to this beer but also a slightly spiced feel. This was complemented with grapefruit, pine and herbal flavors. Lastly, you'll get a punchy bitter long-lasting feel.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 21B-RYE). Bottle 33 cl - Batch L16042018 (BBF 03.2019). AROMA: medium-high oxidized hop aroma with a dried grass character. medium-low oxidized malt (caramel). acidic background. APPEARANCE: deep gold color and just slightly hazy. medium ivory head with good retention. TASTE: medium oxidized hops (dried grass), oxidized malt (caramelized) and medium acidic background. faint rye background. medium-high bitterness with a semi-dry and bitter finish. PALATE: medium-light body. medium carbonation. slight puckering quality. OVERALL: a rye IPA already oxidized and with a strange, almost clean, acidic profile probably from somekind of contamination.

Bottle from Saveur Biere. Light hazy deep amber red with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and sour red berries. Flavor is quite sweet, moderate bitter and light sour. Dry, moderate bitter and light sour finish. Way off, but a very fitting name, that describes this beer very well. 051118

On tap (flight) at Taproom Uba ja Humal, Tallinn. Slightly hazy amber with a modest, off-white head. Malty and fruity with tropical fruits, light citrus and hints of caramel. Sweeter and less bitterness than expected, fairly mild flavours, but also quite pleasant.

(Keg at Sori Taproom, 20180911) The beer poured deep amber and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, caramel and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, fruitiness, caramel, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste had caramel, hops and bitterness. A pleasant hoppy brew with strong caramel notes.
