Gravity dispense at the Happy Man Autumn BF, 10/10/14. Rich amber topped with a moderately sized off white swirl. Nose is dark fruit rinds, biscuit, spice, Taste comrpsies caramel, faint coffee, spice, bitter fruits. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close with a bitter wash. Decent enough.

On cask at the Haymarket. Appearance - amber with a decent head. Nose - apples with a little toffee. Taste - more apples this time stewed. Some ginger biscuits on the finish. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a fairly good finish. Overall - a nice bitter

500ml Bottle conditioned: BBD end of Aug 2013. Poured into an Abbot Ale glass tankard at home on 20 Jun 2013. No sediment left the bottle: A beige creamy head sat on top of a brown body with a red hue to it. Sweet malty nose and taste: caramel with nuts. Balanced by some fairly bitter hops towards the end of each sip. Good body depth, rich and full of malty flavours: a very good beer from a brewery that always seems to impress me.

500ml bottle. Clear amber colour with average to huge, firm, frothy to creamy, minimally lacing, white to off-white head. Grainy, minimally spicy aroma, malt basis is minimally sweet and fruity. Taste is moderately sweet fruity, a touch of strawberry, a minimal tart touch, increasing dry and wheaty overtones, dry finish, prickling carbonation throughout.
