18/10/2019. Can from the Craft Beer Store, Hamburg. Pours very dark brown with a foamy off-white to beige head. Aroma of chocolate, peanut butter, roasted malt and caramel. Medium sweetness and medium roasted bitterness developing. Full body, slick texture, soft carbonation. Quite bitter roasted chocolate and peanut finish. Good.

330ml can (from Beer 52): BB 15th Feb 2020. Drank at home on 2nd Oct 2019. Really dark ruby/brown body, swiftly fading beige head. Milky and chocolate nose, slight peanut like esters too. Taste is as the label suggests, chocolate and peanut butter flavours abound in this fairly sweet malty brew.

Black beer, pours a little flat. Nutty chocolate aroma. Rich chocolatey taste too, some caramel and fortunately, to my taste, not too nutty. Stays a little flat throughout but it's a rich chocolate stout with a little booziness so you can't go far wrong.

330ml can. Dark brown colour, tan foamy head leaving lacing and aroma of chocolate, peanut. Taste is sweet malty, dark chocolate, with peanut butter notes and roasty bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tangy nutty bitter finish. Nicely drinkable.

Creamy light beige head left a spotty cover on a very dark brown still body. Dark chocolate, peanut & herbal aroma. Medium bodied, soft on the tongue with a clean aft. Almost medicinal tastes of aniseed, peanut, rich dark chocolate & bitter dark spirits.

[33cl can from Beer52.] An opaque dark brown pour with a thick creamy beige head; peanut butter aroma - not something I generally like; sweet chocolate syrup taste with the peanut butter adding body and helping to balance out the sweetness; then peanuts to finish. Better than expected.
