A symbol synonymous with Bellwoods Brewery; our White Picket Fence has undergone a complete overhaul and its re-envisioned form much better reflects the direction of our brewery. This foeder fermented saison is the result of a unique blending regimen wherein 6 month aged beer is mixed with a small percentage of fresh beer, before being gently dry-hopped and bottle conditioned. Labour intensive in process, but rewarding in result.
This particular variant is conditioned on a hefty dose of fresh peaches from Niagara.
What it smells and tastes like: Incredibly strong aromatics and flavours of fresh peach compliment an already delicious base beer. The carbonation remains front and centre, holding up the massive stonefruit notes with ease while allowing subtler brett notes to play in the background.

Bottle from the brewery. Slightly hazy yellow pour, no head, beer is flat. Aroma is very funky, lambic nose. Horesey, and barny, with some lemon zest and wet funk. Peach is tough to find, but it's upfront in the finish. Extremely tart and sour. Funky with pronounced peach in the end.

Bottle, 0.50l. Aroma of barnyard, peach, cereals, sweat and pepper. Pours hazy golden color with thin quickly diminishing off-white head and sparkling appearance. Taste starts refreshing citrusy, peachy and vinous, following is funky, grainy and woody, mouthfeel is crisp, while finish is mild bitter. Medium body, slick texture and lively carbonation in palate. Expensive, intensive & dβfencive...

(500ml bottle shared by Herbalist, thanks!) Pours lightly hazy bright gold with an average white head. Notes of moderately strong sweet-tart peaches with a fair amount of 'fuzzy peach skin' vibes, softly sweet ester-inflected cereals like a typical saison, light to moderate fruit and lactic lemony acidity, some subtle spicebox phenols, moderate Brett drying neutral wood, balance is quite good with light sweetness, tartness and minerality leading to a crisp, slightly peachy finish with some light dried flower and herb bitterness, a little tannin. Light to medium bodied with fairly high effervescence. I liked this, it wasn't the fruitiest peach beer by a longshot but as a saison it hit the spot on a summer afternoon.

Bottle at Farmhouse Fest 2019, pours a hazy golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out deep peaches upfront, with saison yeast and light oak. Flavour is loaded with bright peaches upfront, with light saison yeast, and oak. Bright peaches characterize this, with pleasant acidity. Excellent.
