The original idea for this quirky beer came when our owner Paul and Evil Twin's Jeppe added Champagne to a slushie machine full of sour beer at a festival. To recreate that, we blend a grape juice-infused Brut IPA fermented using Champagne yeast with a fruited sour. This edition is one in a series based on Champagne cocktails, so peach has been used to replicate a Bellini.

Aroma & Flavour:
Tangy yellow peach, white grape, champagne yeast character, complex acidity

Body:
Light and dry, with prickling carbonation

Aftertaste:
Dry, champagne-like finish, notes of white grape and ripe peach.

Can Picked up from Biervana, Munich and consumed at home Attenkirchen Saturday 6th July 2019. Making Chicken Tandoori Chicken with Raita and will cook in the new wood oven later. We're listening to 6 Music with Tom Ravenscroft standing in for Gilles Peterson. Pours a mango juice colour with an equally looking unusual orange tinted/colored old. The aroma is like one of those old fashioned orange squash Ice Lollies you made as a kid. Taste is a little bit weird, sweet, tangy and a little bit tart. Soft in the mouth, really fruity, peaches and grapes as per the description. Interesting but I am not totally sold on this.

On keg at the Hanging Bat. Appearance - cloudy yellow to brown. Decent head. Nose - light peach, some funk and dry citrus tang. Taste - more of the same. Peach is sweet with a dry citrus tang too. Palate - close to medium bodied with a tangy middle and finish. Overall - peach, hops and sour in good balance.
