Bottle sampled on the Ferry back to Nova Scotia. Fairly clear deep yellow color with a small bubbly white head. crackery grainy pilsner maltiness with just a hint of earthy spicy hops to counter. I was beat up and tired and I sucked this down in record time with no regrets.

Brown bottle, 341 ml, gift from Marc Gratton received February 2nd, 2006; eye: straw, nice effervescence, white head that disappears rapidly, a bit of lacing; nose: hops, caramel, malt; mouth: not much taste, a bit of bitterness, grainy texture, average length mildly sweet finale where some malt comes out, relatively thin, not that bad after working out in the backyard FRANÇAIS Bouteille brune, 341 ml, cadeau de Marc Gratton reçu le 2 février 2006; oeil : paille, bonne effervescence, mousse blanche qui disparaît rapidement, un peu de dentelle; nez : houblon, caramel, malt; bouche : pas très goûteuse, pointe d’amertume, texture granuleuse, finale de longueur moyenne légèrement sucrée où un peu de malt ressort, un peu d’amertume, relativement mince, quand même pas si mal après avoir travaillé dans la cour

Pale straw colour with a wimpy head. Slighty pissy hops and faint strawlike malts in the nose. Really light body with a bit of ripe apple character. No particular bitterness. A bit wet in the finish.
