We took all the delicious beans that normally go into this complex and special stout, and let them sit in freshly emptied rum barrels for half a year. What came out is beyond what we could have hoped for - high notes of vanilla and spiced rum that are backed up with a rich, chocolaty body with hints of coconut, and a smooth, barrel-aged finish that is uniquely tonka-forward.

Keg at CW Family & Friends, Session 1 @Manchester Central, 21/02/20. Light black with a decent tan covering. Nose is sweet malts, toffee, chocolate, brown sugars, mellow rum barrel. Taste comprises chocolate, dark fruits, coffee bean, vanilla essence, mellow rum, light roast, dark malts, light black peppery spice. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. A top notch Impy stout … great balance and none of this new age run away sweet nonsense !!!

Draught @ Cloudwater Friends and Family Fest 2020, Manchester. Pours black with a small head. Roast, cocoa, adjuncts, syrup, sweet both nose and flavor. Tonka. A Sweet tooth wouldnt be enough.

Bottle at Piccadilly, Bod�. Has a black colour with a small light brown head. Aroma of chocolate, vanilla, rubber, coffee beans and ash. Flavour of chocolate, vanilla, coconut, licorice and rubber. Has a silky mouth feel, full-bodied and a light bitterness. Rich and sweet with lots of vanilla.

What an amazing improvement. Almost pure bitterkoekjespudding-beer. Mellow, rich, smooth and soft. Warming rum. Sweet, but not too much. Light tonka, soft chocolate, smooth vanilla.. it all comes together into one can of rummy happyness. Amazing.

Can sample at a tasting at Oren's place. Black. Tonka, coconut, rum, vanilla, wood, chocolate, coffee, sweet, full-bodied, rounded. Great.
