Can picked up months ago, forgot where, possibly Beer Republic webshop nr Breda Netherlands and consumed at home Saturday 23rd January 2021 listening to Tom Robinson on 6 Music and cooking Bavarian Stuffed Cabbage Leaves with Herbs. Pours shark eye black with a tan head. The usual 3 bean aroma is there however there is clearly barrel aged traces here. Chocolate, vanilla, coffee, rum it's all here and contributing nicely to this effort, however I am as ever unconvinced by rum barrel ageing, it's fine but one of my least favourites. Very good beer.

Burk från Etre Gourmet. Svart med krämig moccabrun krona. Massor av tonka, tamarind, snäll kanel-kryddighet, mjölkchoklad, vanilj, snäll ton av kaffe och viss smak och hetta från fatet. Hade önskat lite mer av fatlagringen, tenderar att överskuggas helt av smaksättningen. Stor kropp, oerhört mjuk och len. Hade nästan även här önskat lite mer hetta och att det sticker. Osäker på varför jag köpte denna - tonka är inte riktigt min grej. För den som gillar det är det en riktig pangare, men inte helt min smak. Svårbedömt just därför, för välgjort är det ändå.

0.33 l can from 'Craftbeerrockstars.de', 12.5% abv, canned in July 2020. Black with a thin, frothy, stable, beige head. Intensely sweetish-malty, moderately roasty, fairly spicy and slightly fruity aroma of praline, coffee, lots of tonka bean, coconut, spicy rum and vanilla. Very sweet, malty, moderately roasty, quite spicy and a bit fruity taste of massive tonka bean, praline, coffee, vanilla, hazelnut, coconut and some rum, followed by a medium long, moderately roasty-bitter, rather spicy and a little boozy finish. Full body, smooth and velvety mouthfeel, almost flat. What an intense and heavy beer, very sweet but with so many great flavours which match perfectly, probably even more so than with the bourbon version. Gorgeous stuff, love it. Highest rated beer so far, took me almost 7.000 beers to give a 4.6, but I think it's worth it. Quite astonishing as I rated the base beer and the bourbon ba version at 4.0 and 3.9 only.

Can shared thanks to James. Black with a small beige head. Aroma of raisins, fruity rum, dark malt, brown sugar and of course tonka. Flavour is heavy heavy sweet. Full bodied with soft carbonation.

God damn. Medium chocolate brown head. Pitch black. A bit of alcohol bite, strong dark rum, brown sugar, almond, coffee, chocolate. Smooth as hell. Fantastic.

Canned, 330 ml from Beerdome. Shared with kajser27, Max and Miro B. Pours black with dense beige head. Lots of chocolate, vanilla, rum, some spices, coffee, some cinnamon. Sweet with some bitterness. Smooth and silky. Full bodied.

ABV: 13.4%. Clear dark black brown colour with a average, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, cocoa, tonka, vanilla, alcohol - sweet alcohol, chocolate - coffee. Flavor is heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, cocoa, tonka, vanilla, alcohol, sweet alcohol - rum. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20200301]

8-4-8-5-16 Can @ lucky, Bergen, seven months after canning. Pours black, with a small creamy mocha head. Aroma is sweet dark malts with banana cake, caraway, spices and liquorice, as well as vanilla, coconuts, tobacco and rum barrels. Creamy velvety body, with very soft carbonation. Flavour is sweet dark malts with molasses, vanilla, chocolate and licorice, as well as banana cake, cardamom, spices, tobacco,tannins and rum barrels.
