We teamed up with Brewdog North Street and devised a plan to take out fan favourite Coconut, Tonka, Vanilla & Cacao stout, but make it super accessible and ditch the lactose!

We made a few tweak here and there, the most important was replacing lactose for Oatmilk and brewed an 8.5% Tonkoko but 100% vegan.
All of the booze with none of the moos!

Can sample at a tasting at Yoav's place. Murky brown. Tonka, coconut, chocolate, a bit artificial and chemical, plastic note, vanilla, some yeast, sweet, bitterish note.

Keg at Brewdog Lothian Road. Pours black with a thin tan head. Aromas of vanilla and dark chocolate. Taste is roasty, tonka, vanilla, dark chocolate again. Cocoa finish. Rich mouthfeel.

On tap at BrewDog Seven Dials London Black beer lasting tan head. Big coconut aroma. chocolate and coconut aroma and flavour. quite big in the mouth. alcohol is quite present. Good coconut and tonka bean flavour. it's fine. maybe a bit too big for its own good.

Growler from Stamford Beers Direct. Jet black with a slim head. Aroma and taste have vanilla, sweet coconut and roasted bitter chocolate. Smooth body.

Can from Eltham Wines. Black pour with a tan head. Tonka beans, coconut, cocoa, chocolate, vanilla aromas. Taste is sweet tobacco, tonka, Bounty bar, vanilla, milk chocolate. Lots of sweetness in the foretaste, light bitterness in the aftertaste.

Cask @ Crown & Kettle, Manchester. Black with a creamy-frothy head. Its strength and roasted malts combine as coconut in both aroma and taste, with its texture relatively light tasting for this percentage, but does get sticky-sweet.
