Keg at the Buxton Taphouse, Buxton, 15/09/20. Clear golden with a well presented white cap ... carbonation well evident. Nose is lemon rind, straw, herb, hedgerow, grass. Taste comprises lemon tinged straw, light white peppery spice, stoned fruit esters, gras, herb, lemon rind. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close. Decent saison along classic lines.

Keg @ Buxton Tap House, Buxton. Pours misty golden yellow, frothy white head. Aroma is light, floral with a very distant sweetness. Exceptionally light on the palate, clean and smooth, almost cask-like feel about it.. certainly slots nicely into the grisette box, light and sessionable, but I prefer my saisons with a bit more bite.

Draft at Woodworkers wasn’t quite ready to brave the rain outside. Dusty golden pour with a frothy head. Nose is quite fruity and yeasty. Tastes of tangerine, peach, grass, floral, hay and raw dough. Lively enough palate. I enjoyed it.

On tap at The Made Inn Ashford.. hazy gold orange colour lasting white head well it's a saison. decent light lemon some Brett character. fruity finish. light sherbet. light saison yeast. decent enough. some herb

Draft at stoom. Aroma of dry yeast, yeast ester, floral herbs and wheat. Taste has floral hop, dry yeast ester, roses and wheat. Allright.
