Tasting at Brian's, corked bottle, 6.5% ABV
Hazy blond colour. Funky, farty, with strong citrus peel, horseblanket; frankly I can believe this is an actual Lambic from Belgium.
Excellent.

Fancy 500ml on Brian's deck. Appearance: hazy pale golden with a white head. Aroma: decent lambic funk accompanied by barrel notes. Taste: along the same lines, quite carbonated, low to moderate acidic. Overall: pretty good.

500mL bottle, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma reveals moderate funk, a little oak, and some wild yeast. Flavour is fairly peppery, with gentle funk, some white pepper, and a little oak. Gentle acidity, finishing peppery and funky. Not exactly like an authentic gueuze, but it does have a nice funk to it. Good stuff.

There's a lot of woody, leathery notes so it seems similar to gueuze. The body is a bit thin, again lots of nice leathery accents, complex bugs, and a good bit of barrel, too. I like it.

Bottle from Glasbanken. Pale golden with white head. Distinct stone fruit, apricots. Funky horse-blanket, some citrus and apple vinegar. Some lingering oak gives a bit of depth. Quite good!
