330ml bottle. Murky, oxblood red colour with average, firm, frothy, moderately lasting and lacing, pink head. Fruity and slightly lactic aroma, notes of black currant, a touch of sauerkraut. Taste is mildly tart, fruity, slightly fruit acidic and minimally lactic, notes of black currant, a touch of sauerkraut. Mushy-watery texture, smooth and soft palate, fine and soft, still minimally prickly carbonation. A bit monotonous and monothematic - apart from that nothing else to object to.

Little cloudy dirty rusty brown to bordeaux purple red beer, big aery irregular purplish head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: pretty fruity, cherries, some raspberries, fruity, funky, sourish impression. MF: lively carbon, medium body. Taste: fruit fruity, nice acidity, some tannins, cherries, bit of vinegar, bitter touch, very fruity, berries, jam. Aftertaste: more acidity, tannins, bit lemony, bitter, lovely stuff, love it!
Paired nicely with braised pork cheeks with black olives and chorizo.

330ml bottle from Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury. Pours a deep hazed purple, good frothy off-white / pale crimson head. Interesting fruity nose, sour impressions, yeast and delicate red berry. Taste is super sharp, great prickly clarity with berry stork and pips, good sour tang with distant dark roast providing woody roasty murmurs on the finish. Excellent complex sour with impressive depths of flavours for those willing to take their time with this beer. A great introduction to this brewery.

Dark pink with a frothy head that lingers. Subtle berry aromas with mixed grains and minerals underneath. Taste is mildly sour with a fruit yogurt sweetness. The currants carry the finish. The mildly carbonated body is surprisingly dense. Refreshing nonetheless. Good.

Bottle. Color: Pink-ish red, stable pink head. Aroma: Moderate sour, black currant. Taste: Nicely balanced moderate sour and light to moderate sweet, barnyard and grass notes probably from the used Norwegian yeast, subtle notes of black currant. Slightly under.medium body, below average carbonation. Pretty dense mouthfeel, most probably caused by the use of rye. I was a bit scared that this beer would taste like a sourish Cassis lemonade, but boy was I wrong... Luckily! Nice complexity and balance. Currant is not overwhelming at all. Good fruited Sour.

RB backlog. Beautiful redcurrant nose, piney hops, faint esters, grapefruit, some bread crust notes. Light to medium sweet, fruity start, then some minerals kick in and tart currants fill your mouth with good sour notes.
