Cask at the Duchess of Cambridge, London, during the American Beer Festival. Pours clear gold with a fine, white foam head. Dry, pale malts and toasty straw in the nose. Light to medium sweet flavor with toasty pale malts, white bread, some lemon and other pithy citrus, pineapple. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Great condition. Mild dryness to finish with plenty of rindy citrus, dry grass and straw. Pretty decent.

Cask, Ship & Mitre, Liverpool. Amber looks with a thin off white head. Slightly muted sweet malts and hop in the nose. Decent enough hop bitterness in the flavour that lingered well into the finish. Straightforward and perfectly drinkable stuff, if a little unrefined.
