Brought back by my Dad from Buxton. Clear amber tinged brown. Foamy off-white head is initially quite Foamy before almost entirely disappearing. Aroma combines sweet caramel with a berry streak. Flavourwise it woody bitterness with a berry edge, over chewy caramel and grains. Light-medium bodied. Slick..Soft-fizzy carbonation is restrained. Long slightly astringent finish..Decent Best.

Handpull cask at the Peacock, Bakewell. Very light brown, clear with some loose slightly off-white head. Woody aroma, some caramel, maybe touches of berry and paraffin. Sweet taste but the sweetness doesn't run away with it. A little bitterness at the finish. Scoring may be a little kind but I didn't mind this beer.

Cask at BoD, Alsager. Pours a golden amber with a small off-white head. The aroma is mainly malts with a hint of almonds. In the mouth it is quite watery, sweet and malty, but with some underlying hoppiness. Flavour is mianly biscuits and bread with some lemon and citrus hints. Bit of a bland nothing beer.
