IPA di derivazione “West Coast”: luppolatura importante che conferisce alla birra una nota “tropicale”, con sfumature che vanno dal melone al frutto della passione al pompelmo, per poi arrivare ad un amaro deciso, con un bilanciamento a favore del luppolo. Lieve presenza del malto percepita in bocca, in maniera comunque non predominante. Schiuma bianca di buona persistenza. Birra modaiola.

Drunk at Osteria la Ruta in Padua. Amber with moderate head, lightly citrus lemon nose. Flavor is a bit underpowered but pretty clean, malty, lemon. Thin body but decently balanced hop bitterness, APA Power I'd say.

Tap. Hazy amber color with beige head. Aroma is caramel, earthy, mild grassiness. Taste is the same, pretty dark. Foamy mouthfeel and carbonation. A bit dark and weird for an IPA.

Tap. Dark golden, offwhite head. Light oxidized, earthy hops, grainy, dusty grassy, herbal water, the frog is living in a stagnant pond.

Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate.

31-12-18 // 330ml bottle shared on NYE, thanks to a friend. Unclear orange. Mild hop nose. Malty body, less aromatic more bitter hop finish. Average. --- Beer merged from original tick of Froggy Hops IPA on 31 Dec 2018 at 23:50 - Score: 7

Draft at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours cloudy, deep gold, with a good head of fine white foam. Aroma is tropical and peachy. Body is fairly dense, with moderate carbonation. Actually more than I expected for that level of alcohol. Taste is intensely bitter. A nice fruity feeling was evident on the first sips. Finish is long in bitterness.

Bottle from Il Maso dello Speck, Vipiteno; bb 09-16 L153116
Cloudy blond color. Strong citrusy aroma, maybe Citra. Dry mouthfeel, but still smooth, the malt is not bad, strong resiny bitterness with citrus peel.
A bit dirty, but good.
