Bottle from Rewe Bamberg and drunk with Nelson. Clear reddish brown colour lasting beige head. Some decent malts. Good amber malts. Good spiciness. Maybe some rye malt. Fullness from the abv buy its not obvious. Good solid malt backbone. Yes very drinkable. Very good Rote beer.

Thanks Moravius! Clear reddish amber colour, beige foam. Nose of caramel, some roastiness, bready, a bit nutty, light bitter finish.

50cl Fles bij Greifenklau Keller, 7%. Rood-amber kleur, vuilwitte kraag. Rozenbottel, rood fruit, kersen, donkere mouten, gedroogd fruit, caramel, iets harsig, mooie bitterzoete afdronk. Medium body, zacht en rond mondgevoel. Hele fijne Bock.

Bottle @ Bamberg. Pours amber ruby with a small stable White head. Chewy malts. Caramel, dried fruit, bread and a peachy marmelade cling. Smooth, soft and oily. Quite lip smacking and dangerous at 7%.

Der rote Bock vom Greifenklau, aus der Gassenschänke vom Faß in die Milchflasche abgefüllt und im Hotelzimmer aus dem Plastikbecher genossen - Söder sei Dank. - Kupferrotbraun, gut trüb; sahniger Schaum. - In der Nase sehr mildes toastiges Malz, Johannisbeergelee, leichte exotische Hopfung. - Antrunk weich und satt toastmalzig mit bocktypisch dichter, dennoch dezenter Süße. Feine Johannisbeere, milde doch elegante Hopfenherbe mit feinen mediterranen Kräutern. Milder rezent, hefeweich, perfekt kaschierter Alkohol. Im Abgang nur verhaltene Herbe. - Weicher, runder aber untypisch leichter Bock mit zarter exotischer Hopfung. (8.4.2021.)

20-07-18 // on tap at Klingelbeutel Mainz. Unclear orange. Solid white head. Malty sweet nose. Taste is sweet malts, caramel notes. A little old, not fresh anymore.
