Celebrating Northwest regional offerings of craft beer and wine, Valley Flora combines our sour red ale with Willamette Valley-grown Pinot Noir grapes using traditional brewing and winemaking techniques. Through native fruit fermentation and extended oak maturation, Valley Flora expresses notes of dark bramble fruit, plum, cherry, earth and oak supported by a balanced tannic structure and lively acidity.

500ml bottle, 2017 vintage. Tart plum aroma with notes of cherry, earth, vinous red wine, vanilla and oak. Pours deep burgundy red with a thin tan head that has no retention and no lacing. Starts with tart plum, cherry and vinous red wine flavors as well as having a vinous mouthfeel. Finishes dry and very tart with earth, vanilla and oak flavors. Quite nice.

Clear deep red brown beer, small aery irregular head, dissipates quickly. Aroma: lots of vinegar, some of it balsamic, bit roasted, spicy touch. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: dry, acidic, quite some vinegar, fruity, some red currants, acidic. Aftertaste: very acidic, vinegar notes, sourish, meh.
