Pours a slightly hazy deep gold, with a bubbly white head and a faint aroma of stewed, sweet tropical fruit. The mouthfeel is overly carbonated, the taste is caramel malt with some citrus hop bitterness and a hint of pine

Can from ASDA supermarket, Manchester. Hazy amber with a small head. Carbo-juicy ale with a decent dryish fruitiness taste, but not too much aroma. Its strength subdues things a little but is fuller tasting for it.

330 ml can, from the brewery webstore. ABV is 5.8%. Deep golden to orange colour, slightly hazy. Moderate white head. Aroma of citrus and tropical fruits, some of them over-ripe. Also distinct notes of pine, hints of yeast, dust and damp cellar. Very piney and yeasty flavour, sweet mandarin marmalade and tropical fruits in the background. Low bitterness. Unbalanced. Not a favourite of mine.

330 ml can – Pours a murky orange gold colour with a small, mostly lasting, cream head. Aroma is sweet citrusy, oranges over a sweet malt base. A moderately sweet to light sweet taste, jammy sweet orange and pale malt flavours with a light pithy citrus bitterness in the finish.

Can delivered from ASDA and drunk at home during the lockdown. Dark gold, hazy with the tiniest microfilm of white head. Pine and floral aroma, some pear and papaya, candied orange peel. Sweet taste, with a big jammy flavour and a slight vegetal note, followed by more candied fruit and icing sugar. Medium carbonation. It's too sweet, but it's drinkable, even enjoyable, but one is enough.

Half-pint, keg at Piccadilly Tap, shared with Finn. A covering white head over a dark orange coloured body, cloudy. Fair lacing. Moments of apricot compote on the nose. Dough fruity flavours, apricot, biscuit and toffee. Ends with welcome fruity bitterness. Fine depth. Satisfying. (Manchester 22.01.2020).
