My Generation was launched in 2015 by two Black Sheep directors and Jonny Kirkham as a separate company to Black Sheep. Since 2019, Jonny Kirkham has been a director at Black Sheep, and the My Generation brand is no longer regarded as a distinct company, though for marketing purposes is still presented that way. The beers have always been brewed and distributed by Black Sheep.

Bottle at home split with Sarah. A mid orange coloured pour with a lasting off white head. Aroma is light toffee, grassy hop, sileage, distinctive black sheep yeast profile. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, toffee, grassy hop, Yorkshire yeast. some flint. Palate is semi sweet, some minerality, moderate carbonation. Meh.

Bottle. Tesco. Clear gold. Fairly thick, lasting, white head. Nose has leafy hop. Caramel. Some pepper. Taste is mostly sweet, with a herbal bitterness. Medium body. Oily on the palate. Crisp carbonation. Lingering bitterness to finish.

Clear golden colour with thin soapy head. Aroma and flavour have some slight grassy and citrusy hop notes. Nice bitterness in the finish.

Bottle at Jason & Traceys, 01/06/18. Clear golden copper with a decent off white cap that retains well. Nose is orange peel, floral notes, grass, toasted grains, melon. Taste comprises airy malts, orange peel, light breads, biscuit, crackers, light citric peel. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light perfume effect. Average golden.

20th Feb 2018; Shrewsbury Beer Exchange Group meeting in Chez Sophie. 330ml can; BB 11th May 2018, cheers Simon for this offering. Golden pour, white topping. Not a lot going on really, some light sweetness and a slight fruit bowl aroma. Taste is subtle fruitiness with a mild maltiness.

330ml can at 4.7%. Pours bright gold with a medium head. Aroma is creamy, bready malt. Light hops. Taste is creamy and bready. Some co2. Subtle melon hops.
