Bottle, courtesy of Koelschtrinker. Aroma is grains and old hops, little burnt malts. Body is light, oxidized, and grainy. A bit metallic and off. Meh.

50cl bottle. A clear golden beer with a small off-white head. Aroma of straw, mild sweet pale malt, grains. Taste of semi strong grainy malt, straw, mild sweetness, not too bitter.

Maurerflasche (50 cl) aus einem Edeka in Dinkelsbühl. - Dunkles Goldgelb, blank, wenig Schaum. - Nase brotig-malzig mit leicht säuerlicher Note und schwachem krautigem Hopfen. - Antrunk schön kernig malzig mit brotigem hellem Malz und angenehm honigsüßer Malzsüße, zart säuerlich abgeschmeckt und abgerundet mit mildem zitronig-fruchtigem Hopfen, der biersortentypisch gegenüber den Malzaromen zurücktritt. Mild rezent, weiches Mundgefühl. Nur mild herber Abgang, rasch abklingend - der Nachtrunk ist nicht die starke Seite dieses Bieres. - Ein angenehmes, süffiges Export, dominiert von brotig-süßen Malzaromen aber nicht dick. Auf Dauer freilich etwas plump.
