33 cL bottle, bought at the Ettal Klosterladen. Pours a hazy, dull, orange color, with a with a small, fleeting, beige head. The nose is orange juice, cinnamon, caramel, and rye. Sweet, with a smooth, hard bitterness. Medium body, with a sticky, hard palate. This is a strong and not terribly pleasant bock.

Bottle.Cloudy amber brown, offwhite brown cream. Banana, pickled herring aroma. Medium light body, light bready, banana and clove, still getting some fishy notes. Dry rye bread finish. A bit strange.

On tap. Pours hazy darker amber brown, topped with medium yellow-white head, foamy. Banana and sweaty wheat notes, mild and sweet. Slight spices and soy sauce. More spices in the taste, wehaty with cloves. Mild sweetness. Spiciness in charge. Sparkly aftertaste.

Bottle shared with Koelschtrinker, Beerhunter111 & Zlotta. Smooth fresh mild beginning. Nice yeasty fruity flavour, mild and fresh. The body is not too deep, fruit, banana and clove. Hints of sourness, rich in body, nice!

Sampled from 1.0 l bottle, best before June 2017. Hazy, orangeish amber with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, beige head. Sweetish, moderately yeasty-spicy and slightly fruity aroma of overripe banana, cloves, honey, some pear and a touch of cinnamon. Moderately sweet, quite yeasty-spicy, a bit grainy and minimally fruity taste of overripe banana, nuts, honey, clove, straw, some pear and hints of cinnamon, followed by a short, slightly bitter, quite yeasty-spicy finish. Medium body, slightly creamy and quite effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Nice, but not over-whelming.

Draught at BKL München 2017.
Dark amber, hazy body, with a big, creamy, lacing, beige head.
Aroma of banana, vanilla, dried fruits, some bread, some caramel, slight toast.
Tastes quite similar, but a bit less sweet.
Medium, oily mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation.
Finishes a bit dry, toasty, bready, yeasty, wheaty, a bit fruity.
Very nice. Smooth and balanced, with the typical notes of this style well showcased. Not the most unique style example maybe, but still a creamy, comfortable one, I would drink again.

Test 2 aus der Flasche, zugeschickt von der Brauerei. Weich hefig herber Start mit leicht erhöhter Karbonisierung. Trocken, moderate milde Malzigkeit. Hintergründig leicht alkoholisch, was aber schnell verschwindet. Die Herbe bleibt konstant, eher milder Nachhall, in dem die Hefigkeit kaum noch von Belang ist. Minimal bananig. Okay. 9/8/8/8/11/8 Hefig herber, leider eher muffig Antrunk. Moderat herb, langweilig. Unnötig. 10/7/8/7//7
