Duuuzo toffi, trochę karmelu, trochę palonych nut. Barwa miedziana, przejrzyste, piana trwała, ładny lacing. Goryczka niska, palona. Piwo dość wodniste ale ma coś do zaoferowania w smaku. Całkiem nieźle.

Appearance is clear dark amber, a 2-3 finger foamy beige head. Aroma is English hops, toffee, malt, raisin hints, biscuit. Taste is soft hops, biscuity malt, hints of dark fruit, some nutty malt, quite thin.

23/III/22 - 50cl bottle as a gift, shared @ my neighbour’s place, BB: 31/X/21 (2022-272)

Clear amber to red beer, big creamy off-white head, stable, a bit adhesive. Aroma: very malty, metallic touch, some caramel, raisins, dried fruits. MF: soft carbon, medium to light body. Taste: soft bitterness, malty start, some caramel, more bitter, bit metallic, dry. Aftertaste: nice bitterness, a bit malty, hoppy, bit resinous, very decent.

Bottle from Asda. Clear, rich chestnut colour with a lasting off-white head and a middling fizz. Malt and caramel are dominant here with just a vague whiff of generic fruitiness. It's a bog standard basic supermarket bitter, but it's pleasantly drinkable. Frankly I'm bored stiff of hoppy pales; it's rather enjoyable to have a malty bitter these days by way of a change.

Malz, leichte Kaffeenoten. Minimal seifig und gallig bitter. Das stört den Genuss. Ansonsten wäre das ein sehr brauchbares Leichtbier.
