The brewery was bought by Marston's (later Carlsberg-Marston's) in 2007. Rebranded as Razorback in November 2015. Production moved to Banks's in Dec 2023 when the Ringwood Brewery closed, and then to the former Marstons brewery in Burton on Trent in 2025.
The perfect supping beer! Our first brew and still the New Forest’s favourite tipple. Nose: Tempting hop aroma with fruit notes. Palate: Good malt feel in the mouth, dry, tangy fruit finish. Comments: Delicious, easy drinking slightly tart pale bitter.

Cask at Goose, Wolverhampton (at 3.6%). Pours “bitter brown” with a small foamy off-white head and good lacing. Mainly malts in the aroma but also some hints of red berries. In the mouth it is sweet and smooth with a creamy texture, but also some bitterness involved. Flavour has malts, some floral hops, hints of autumn fruits and (later) nuts and caramel. Bitterness creeps into the slightly dry finish as well. This is reasonable but somewhat bland.

Cask @ Ringwood Brewery. Pours a deep clear amber, off-white head of foam. Aroma brings caramelised amber malt, a suggestion of dried dark fruit. Flavour profile seems centred around the same sort of thing, good bitter bite. Ok bitter overall.

Cask at the Red Lion, St Peters, 24/11/23. Clear amber with a good sized lasting beige head, full glass lacing ensues. Nose is caramel, biscuit, sugars, dried fruit rinds. Taste comprises caramel, sweet edged, brown bread, sugars, light berry fruit notes. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. This was in decent condition but it just comes over very 'caramelly' and lacks balance ... last third of the pint became a bit of a chore to finish.

Duuuzo toffi, trochę karmelu, trochę palonych nut. Barwa miedziana, przejrzyste, piana trwała, ładny lacing. Goryczka niska, palona. Piwo dość wodniste ale ma coś do zaoferowania w smaku. Całkiem nieźle.

Third, cask ale, beer flight at Bargeman's Rest. Shared with Finn. Clear dark amber body, fair lacing from a mostly dissipating white head. Moderate smell of mid-sweet caramel and grass. Biscuit flavours followed by a bittersweet tail. Fair enough. (Newport, Isle of Wight 21.10.2019).

Hand-pulled cask pint in the White Hart, Ironbridge Shropshire on 17th June 2018. Red hue to the amber body, decent and lasting white head. Malty nose and initial taste, dry hoppy overall flavour with a light fruity undertone, semi-bitter finish. my pint wasn't in great condition, but I still managed to sink it all.
