0.5 l bottle from 'Craftbeershop.com', best before November 2024. Clear, golden amber with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, malty, slightly floral and minimally fruity aroma of grains, some honey and light orange peel. Quite sweet, malty, moderately bitter, slightly floral and minimally fruity taste of grains, straw, honey, popcorn and a touch of orange peel, followed by a short, moderately bitter finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Solid Bock, somewhat stale though.

Clear dark yellow colour with soapy head. Aroma and flavour are very much malt forward. There's a delicate floral element to it too.

Bottle picked up from Sulzberger Bierhaus, Pffafenhofen an der Ilm and consumed at home Tuesday 9th August 2022 sat outside listening to Marc Riley with the Blue Orchids in session on 6 Music. We had Lax Pudding for tea tonight. Pours warm gold with a mid sized white head. Soft with a nice chewiness, malty, a little sweet overipe orange, a little bready. Good.

Zötler Bier Maibock, Flasche von Grabsch. - Helles Goldbraun, blank. - In der Nase bocktypisch breites aber etwas gehemmtes helles Malz, Vanille, milde herbale Hopfung. - Antrunk satt getreidig hellmalzig mit plumper Süße, derber Zitronenschale, Waldhonig. Milde herbale Hopfung. Milder rezent, vollmundig. Im Abgang ruppige, leicht schwefelige zitrusfruchtige Bittere (Hopfenextrakt?). Schwach muffiger Nachtrunk. - Plump und unfrisch wirkender Maibock, malzschwer aber ohne Tiefgang und ohne feinere Hopfenaromen. Es gibt bessere. (25.4.2021.)

0,5 l bottle from Getränke Rücker, Lengerich. Clear dark golden, more than one finger white foamy head. Smells grainy with apple fruity background. Taste is malty, also fruity, some sweetness, getting spicy. Little bit alcoholic. Low bitterness. Okay.

23-04-20 // 500ml bottle from Stumpf. Pours a clear darker golden beer with a solid white ehad. Nose of sweetish malts. Aroma is rich malty, bread and careml, light sugary,wort, soft.
