Taste comprises cocoa powder, charr, berry pips, light pine, toffee, brown bread. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close dusted with earthy hop bitterness. Ok easy drinking CDA.

Bottle at DS - thanks to Ken. It pours near black with thick tan head. The aroma is earthy roast, aniseed, cocoa, plummy fruits, fruit cake, toasted brown sugar and treacle. The taste is dry, bitter, earthy roast, cocoa, tannin, spice, dull smoke, woody, spice and fruit cake. Medium body and moderate carbonation. A bit thin and feels more like a porter than a black ipa.
