Shared at pre-Borefts tasting, thanks for sharing everybody! Almost black with dark beige head. Oxidized malts, overripe fruits, soft licorice, dried herbs, very old oaky notes and some goat droppings. Smells OK but the taste is not good. Light sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

From bottle at CBF Wien. Dark brown body, with a big, creamy, moderately lacing, beige-brown head. Aroma of dried and ripe fruits, wild berries, red wine, medium leather, some vinegar. Tastes of leather, wood, overripe fruits, red wine, dried fruits, cocoa, subtle vinegar. Medium, creamy mouthfeel, with an average carbonation. Finishes medium sour, even a bit roasty, moderate leathery, dark fruity, a bit wooden, with some cocoa, some wine. Tasty. Big and complex, with a great diversity, on the one hand the typical sour fruity and vinous notes of this style, on the other hand also some cocoa like notes from the dark malts. Very well hidden alcohol. Overall really characterful stuff, another great sour beer from this brewery.
