Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from the local Co-Op. Pours clear copper-gold, effervescent, with a tight, frothy off-white topping. Light sweet flavour with nice dried pine, leafy hops, sun-baked malts, orange peel, British yeast. Light bodied with average carbonation. Fairly clean finish, baked grains, citrus peel, dirty grass. Not bad.

Grainy Ale nose. The beer is slightly sourish with fruity parts. Hints of grain, caramel. Not too much depth, very soft with a grainy caramelly finish. Easy to drink with soft finish.

Bottle at lowestoft, picked up from local coop. A clear orange amber coloured pour with a lasting greyish beige head. Aroma is twiggy, nutty, sweaty grassy hop, stewed veg. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, toffee twiggy malts. Grassy hop, stewed veg, spicy finish. Palate is semi sweet, mineral, spicy finish. Pretty shit.

Bottle from Co-Op, Kentish Town on 10th February 2021. Pours a reddish copper with substantial yellowy white foam soon reducing shallow. Plenty of lacing. Caramel malt aroma. Fruity in mouth with berries, a touch of fresh apple, spices and nutty malts. A finish of berry fruits and nutty hints. Full bodied with a smooth mouthfeel.

500ml bottle from Asda. Ok only joking it was Co-op Eye - clear light amber/dark gold, small white head, decent retention. Nose - sweet biscuit malts, light floral hops, hint of astringency; stale English traditional IPA aroma. Taste - sweet biscuit malts, too watery in the middle but some citrus and fruity hops is noticeable. Its slightly tastier than I was expecting without being great. Palate - light to moderate body, moderate carbonation, quite dry but I wouldn't say astringent. Overall - mediocre

[50cl bottle from Co-Op, Milton, Staffordshire.] A pale amber pour with a loose white head; floral aroma; floral taste to start, but overtaken by bitter burnt caramel. Not good.

Bottle from Co-op Seaton. Amber with an off-white head. Metallic-hoppy nose. Quite light-bodied, shy malty flavours with caramel, a sourish fruity touch and some dry, woody and herbal hops.
