Cask, half-pint, shared with Finn at Rummer Tavern. Next to clear copper coloured body, decent beige head blanketing the glass. Restrained plain toffee nose. Taste of plums and toffee, On the sweet side of bittersweet. Smooth. Satisfying. (Cardiff 02.05.2017).

(Cask at Edgar Wallace, Aldwych, London, 19 April 2017) Amber colour with foamy, off-white head. Malty, slightly fruity nose with apricots, earthy hops and hints of oak wood. Malty, fruity taste with notes of caramel, apricots, malt syrup, wood and a sweetish finish with a balanced earthy bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Quite nice.

Cask at Duke Inn, Sutton Coldfield - Rusty looking body, no head. Nose has very little going on as it’s going to be a disappointment. Taste is very malty, bitter and quite aromatic.
