Sold as "Stag Ale" at The Stag in Warrington. ----- Light brown colour. Has a woody aroma. It’s a plain, malty bitter with a nice soft texture but a slightly unpleasant sharp edge.

Medium bodied tasty ale with an excellent, but not overstated fruity flavour.

Cask handpull at Westgate, JDW, Canterbury. It’s a brown bitter. Some decent malt and raspberry type fruit on the aroma, some decent caramel malt in the mouth and flavour, good condition, some hoppy bite on the finish. As I said, a bitter.
