Bottle acquired as a Christmas present. Golden, slightly hazy with a carbonation and a frothy-bubbly head. Not too quintessentionally Belgian in style but the abundance of yeasts, which are evident in both aroma and taste account for the reason it is called a 'Belgian Style' ale. Quite fizzy out of its bottle, there's plenty of hoppy sweetness to be found making it a fairly traditional ale too, also hiding its strength well.

500ml bottle conditioned, at home on 16th Feb 2015. BBE of Feb 2015, poured into a UK pint sleeve. Slightly misty golden body, on top a white foam blanket. Fruity and semi-sweet in nature both aroma and taste wise. Good bite to the brew, the 7.2% ABV helps of course and the alcohol suits the beer nicely. One of the best Dunham Massey beers I have had so far (out of 15).

Aroma is sugar, banana and apricot, the yeast is quite pronounced. Hazy golden colour. Taste is of brown sugar, banana, a hint of soft fruits, greek honey and with a bitter finish. It’s a slightly underwhelming beer, it’s not bad but Belgian styles beers are ten a penny at the moment, and this does not stake it’s territory clearly enough.

Bottle 500ml - Massive light soapy head. Hazy pale blond colour. Flavour is quite sweet. Has a typical banana sweetness of a Belgian Tripel. Also a hint of zesty hop.
