Bryggeri Helsinki. Keg. Clear deep amber beer, small cream colour head. Palate is light, fairly dry and good fine carbonation. Dry malts, white smoke. Mild rye spice and tang. Light ripe fruits. Not bad, quite clean.

Bottled (from K Citymarket Kivihaka, Vaasa). Reddish brown colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is mildly toasted malts, some rye and quite floral and mild fruity notes. Flavour is nicely toasted and ryelike with some slight floral and grassy notes to it. Wellbalanced. Would probably be nicer combined with food, than it was "on it’s own".

330ml bottle from Alko. Pours dark reddish brown with a smooth foamy head. Aroma of smoke, rye bread, hints of leather, hay and grass. Taste is smooth, crisp and malty with some hints of rye, smoke and leather. Finish is crisp and malty with some sweetish rye bread notes, hints of smoke and hay. Okay, quite balanced.

A brown beer, a head is blond and quite small. Aroma has bread, rye, nice smoked ham and some tar. Good aroma. Taste has sour ryebread, some smoked ham and tar liquirice, some bitterness. Medium bodied, palate is nicely smooth. The smoke gives nice added value. Rustic.

Bottle 330ml (Alko)
Ruby red color, small steady beige head, some lace. Aroma has weak smokeyness, caramalt and rye. Light to medium-bodied. Bambergian smokeyness dominates over caramalt maltyness. Rye is there too. Some yeastyness in the flavor does some kind of testbrew feeling. Ok different sweetish smokey märzen.

Smell of malt, a faint of smoke. Deep brown colour, beige head. Aroma of smoke, rye bread, roasted malts. Dry palate. Very bitter. Lively but soft carbon. Medium to heavy body. Smoke covers other flavours a bit too much.

100ml draught at the brewpub. Amber coloured body with a slight haze. Spotty lacing. Tiny beige head. Smell of dough and fruity hops. Taste profile contains moments of fruity dough, bread, and orange. Hints of leafy hops to the finish. Decent harvest brew (Helsinki 25.09.2015).

Tap@ Brewery. Pours mahogany color with a thick, dense creamy off white head. Smoke, rye bread, tar notes in aroma. Flavor has smoke, rye, spicy notes and bread. I like the smoke here, also the malt gives it a full bodied feel, ryeish. Pleasant.
