Can, at Patricks. 2021 vintage. An almost clear dark copper colored beer with a small dense beige head. The aroma is piney, with citrus zest, malts, bread, caramel and some dark dried fruit. Hints of licorice, alcohol and even a very gentle oxidation. It's full-bodied, warming and smoothly carbonated, sweet but with enough bitterness. Hop driven flavor too, with a very nice malty backdrop, the balance between the flavors are really good here. There's some oxidation going on, but it still feels quite fresh. Lasting finish. A delicious one indeed, would love to repeat this on my own by the fire. 230929

Tap @ Patricks, 2021 edition. Clear amber body under a small beige head. Strong and delicious aroma of malt, dry fruit and fruity hops. Taste is very sweet malt, but really smooth with lots of dry fruit, some caramel malt, fruity hops, hint of pine and distinct bitterness with warning alcohol. Perfectly balanced body with long lasting, tasty, sweet and warming finish. A really nice sipper I also could have a lot of.

Spotty beige head on a murky brown coloured body. Malt, stewed fruit & grape aroma. Medium bodied, smooth soft & clean. Malt, spices, raisin, caramel & grape tastes with a tangy finish. Smooth sipper - like it.

Bottle shared in London - big thanks to Mitch! Pours lightly hazy copper with a frothy, khaki head. Toasted grains, dry caramel, earth, pine. Full bodied, oily, with fine carbonation. Warming finish, more pine. Alright stuff.

Bottleshare at Craft Islington. Hazy amber brown beer, small cream colour head. Smooth and fairly dry palate, decent fine carbonation. Smooth malts, dry cream and caramel. Dry orange peel and citrus pith. Smooth finish finds softer ripe orange and a little creamy malt sweetness. Not bad but lacks maturity and depth.

Light brown colour with quick fading head. Aroma and flavour have resinous hop and a lot of bittersweet syrupy. Apricot jam.
