Cask at Craft Clerko, 27/01/14. Very lightly hazed golden amber with a moderate off white head. Nose is light caramel, citric notes, orange. Taste comprises grapefruit, bitter orange, light hop presnce. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying grass laden closure. Ok drinkable affair but more a glorified/ramped up golden blonde than an IPA, not enough hop presence. Style wise - an APA would be more appropriate.

Bottle, at Nærbø Ølfestival 2013. A clear, pale golden beer with a small, white head. Grains, pale malts, some cheesy hints, hay, grass and some faint citrus peel hints in the aroma. Medium body, dry and with a pleasant carbonation level. Some bitterness, as well as pale malts, cheesy notes and hay in the flavor. Citrus peel notes. Overall, a pretty boring and uninteresting one. 131019

500 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 5.6%. Hops are Cascade and Summit. Golden colour, large to moderate white head. Strong aroma of grassy hops, a hint of apricots. Moderate carbonation in the glass, smooth mouthfeel. The flavour is not too sweet, and distinctly hoppy throughout. Some toffee first, followed by a distinct grapefruity and resinous bitterness. The finish and aftertaste are very bitter. A decent IPA.

[Nov 19th 2018] 330ml can @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, thanks to Mike and Marks & Spencer. Misty gold, frothy white topping. Fresh citrusy hop aroma. Taste, fresh hoppy bitter grapefruit, nice fruity. Some gentle exotics on the finish. Much better than I had on gravity cask 5 years ago. Re-rate. [Aug 18th 2013] Cask at Beacons Festival, Skipton. Like Mary Jane before it, this had no carbonation to speak of - again it seems due to the festival environment - and a bit too warm. I got some mango, pine & lemon with some floral elements but not enough hops coming through. Will need a cold bottle for me to appreciate this more.

500ml bottle. Pale orangey golden colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Cautious strawy, grainy and citrusy hop aroma, a floral touch. Taste is minimally sweet pale malty, citrusy, cautiously fruity hoppy, hints of mandarine, orange, mango. Cautious, slightly anaemic, on the edge from golden Ale to IPA.

(Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm, 5 July 2013) Golden amber colour with foamy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with apricots, orange and honey. Malty, fruity taste with notes of apricots, tropical fruit, honey, a soft and chewy malt character and a generous spicy, earthy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Lots of flavour and quite well balanced. Nice one.
