Aus der Dose (Vintage 2026) im 2026-08 getrunken. Dieses gelbe Sour Ale zeigt in der Nase deutliche sein Mango Aroma. Die dann auch am Gaumen deutlich ist sowie eine recht milde Säure. Jedoch allesandere als mild ist das Chili "Inferno". Ich finde ja eine gewisse Dosierung von scharfen Gewürzen im Bier spannend, aber das hier ist mir zuviel Schärfe. Im Grund versprichte der Name hier nicht zuviel und damit ist es auch hervorgangend gebraut, aber ich habe kein Spaß an dem Bier und daher geht es leider in den Ausguss.

Nose is chilli, mango pulp, citric zest, damp straw.
Taste comprises mango flesh, spice, green peppers and chilli.
Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with a mellow puckering edge and rise of heat.
Okay novelty tick ... wouldn't want much of it.

375 ml bottle. Hazy orange with a foamy head. Mango, passion fruit, grenadine, chilies, cayenne pepper, lemon. Mild acidic sourness, fruity sweetness, rather spicy. Full bodied, oily milky texture, lively carbonated, sour fruity spicy finish. Quite nice and fruity, spicyness from the chilies is well included, however would have been better without.

375ml bottle. Pours opaque like orange mango juice, very thick, no head. Aroma of mangoes. Taste is sweet juicy mango puree, pure juice, chillis are initially quite subtle but build to give quite a kick of heat. Medium-full body, really thick for the strength, another stunning fruit sour from VC.
