Bottle picked up from Mr Hop webshop Vernray, Netherlands. Consumed this Friday 12th December 2025, cooking Thomasina Miers Picadillo (Mexican Chile) however this is for other meals, we were actually having Dishoom Masala Prawns and another curry of Masala Chicken with Pulau Rice and Poppadoms and Raita, however the poppadoms filled us up 🤣. 🎧 to Afrodeutscha on 6Music. Pours shark eye black with a head that was rapidly swallowed up by the inky depths. Warmth from the chilli gives a nice kick, also a pleasant chocolate streak throughout. Smooth, warming and a little boozy, lovely stuff. Score 7.5

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is strong roast with coffee, peppery chipotle, dark chocolate, green chili, touch of cinnamon. Firm bittersweet flavour. Body is full. Roasty with chili in aroma and taste, good body. Solid.

Bottle shared, black beer, beige hear. Aroma is malt, roast, chocolate, coffee. Taste is the same, light spicy/pepper heat, bitter, light roasted flavour, nice one

Bottle. Color: Blck, very thin beige head. Aroma: Roasted malt, cocoa, cinnemon and vanilla notes. Taste: Roasted malt, not to strong spicy peppery chipotle notes`mostly towards and at the finish. Notes of cinnamon and vanilla. Over modertae sweet and bitter. Over medium body, just below average carbonation.

Black with dark creamy head. Aroma and flavour have plenty of bittersweet dark malts. Also dark chocolate. Luckly I don't get any cinnamon. Rich texture.
