Okay foam on a clear coppery gold body. Smells of lots of caramel and that's about it. Taste is plenty of caramel, crisp hops, pine. Ends smooth, crisp, nicely dry and only a little wet. A good session IPA and the alcohol isn't missed.

Very slightly unfiltered, light golden-amber colour with a creamy warm off-white cap, good retention and lots of creamy lacing. Barley aromas with some nice cereal touch and mild grassy hops. Mild tasting, wet thin mouthfeel, with some light dryness in the finish. A smooth session IPA with more malt than expected.

Cask @ White Hart, Todmorden. Golden with a creamy head. It has a creamy-malty aroma and taste, but not a great fusion of the two, with a higher bitterness prominent.

Live rate ... Cask at Square Bottle, Chester...Golden, crystal clear, dense white head ... Nose soft fruits, apricot, light peach ... Taste of sweet pale caramel, very soft fruits, touch of toffee, wishy-washy, dry bitter zest hops... Palate - thin body, fairly bitter, bit sticky... Finish is very dry, rather long dusty linger. Overall - served rather warm ... not great

Cask-conditioned at the Postern Gate, York 21/8/2018. Easy drinking pale ale with a touch of citrus character and dryish finish. Fine.
