AROMA: very nice sweet malty aroma with notes of toasty and bread crust. slight caramel notes and no hop aroma. spicy and soft alcohol aroma. APPEARANCE: dark ambar color with orange highlights and translucent. tanned thin head with low retention due to high alcohol content. TASTE: clean lager flavour with very sweet and rich notes of malt and dark dried fruits (raisins). some bread crust notes. low bitterness with a sweet finish. PALATE: full body with a velvety texture. moderate-low carbonation. Alcohol warmth present. OVERALL: a doppelbock a bit more on the sweet (and strong) side.
