Dunkelhopfiger Beginn, deutlich fruchtig werdend, dann intensiver hopfig. Das Bier liegt mit den Hopfennoten schwer im Mund, übermäßig blumig, rund – intensiv! 10/11/11/12/12/12

0.75l bottle from bierpost. Cloudy, deep golden colour, large and creamy, quite dense head. Hoppy-fruity aroma. Full-bodied, very smooth start with a solid malty background and lots of aromatic hops. Bursting with tropcial fruit such as mango, papaya; and citrus fruit with a shy resiny background. Delicious.

1L Growler @ RBNAG-11. Hazy orange body with a small white head. Mild citric fruity aroma with notes of malt. Flavor is fruity with light malt, quite sweet and frankly not very bitter. Medium body and a bit short on aftertaste. Drinkable, but not exactly what should be called an IPA and specially not double IPA.

Bottle at the brewpub, titled Berliner Art. 9%. Ight amber with a creamy tan head. Bit of a head cold so aroma not noticeable. Lots of sugar here, fruity, squeezed grapefruit, malt with a medium bitter palate.

Growler-bottle @ RBNAG11. Pours a heavy clouded orange-copper body packed with big sediments and a small sidesticking off-white head. Aroma is cardboardy, thin and light malty and light hoppy. Not much reminding me of an IPA. Average carbonated with a oily mouthfeel. Stronger hoppy flavors, some distinct alcohol in this one with caramel in the finish. Drinkable absolutely but no DIPA.

Shared growler at RBNAG 2011. Golden colour. Dryish and "dusty" aroma. Some hops in the flavour and aftertaste, but very far from a "double" IPA. Still drinkable.

1.5L flip-top bottle, thanks Tomaz for bringing this one from Berlin. As previous rater mentioned, this IIPA pales in comparison to the Berlin IPA which I think captured the essence of an IPA better. Could be better, and I know Brewbaker can do it, just some extra tweaking.
