Cask handpull at New Inn Canterbury. Hazy gold beer. Smells of honey. Light malt in mouth. Some dryness on finish. Good condition. Decent enough.

Cask on deepest darkest Mayfair. It pours clear yellow with a small, bubbly white head. The aroma is tangy, honeyed fruits, lychee, orange marmalade, nectarine, plum, loads of stone fruit and bready. The taste is dry, tangy honey, green, pithy, honeyed fruits, pine, grassy, lychee, nectarine, yellow plum, straw and grass with a firmly dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Fruity dot com. Quite nice actually.

This is comfortably the most disappointing Thornbridge I've had. It's not bad just not up to their standard. Not as much of a honey hit as if hoped.

On cask on launch night at Coach and Horses (i.e now) - A hazed straw yellow to light gold, with modest, bubbly white foam, and light, wavy lacing. The aroma was light, zesty fruit, with just a hint of honey sweetness. The flavour was same as the nose, with the honey coming to the fore right at the end of the pint, a light body, some spritz to the carbonation, and a lightly clean and dry finish. A good refreshing beer. Well done Coach guys!
