A beautiful juicy pale ale from Black Iris brewery in Nottingham. This is a great statement beer brewed to celebrate their local market. Packed with ripe fruit and balanced out with a good bitterness as well.

Cans from The Beer Cave (5.0% ABV in 2019) and Lupe Pintos (6.0% ABV in 2023). Hazy pale golden body with a white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of melon, grapefruit, steel and lychee. Flavour of Twister ice-lolly, straw and orange with a bitter, hoppy finish. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. This is excellent. The aroma is particularly great.

Keg @ Victorian Craft Beer Cafe, Halifax. Hazed golden with a small head and a light carbonation, although this transfers a little more than expected as activity in the palate. It's dryish-fruity behind this with a hint of caramel.

Can from Brewklopedia. 6%. Drunk at home. Golden yellow, maximum hazy with a loose white head. Dank aroma with mango and pineapple juice, orange peel, mothballs. Taste is sweet without being sickly and there's an intense bitter hoppiness in the finish. Lemon balm and more tropical fruit in the aftertaste. Heavily carbonated. This is a lovely pale ale. I didn't expect to live this as much as I did.
