Half of gravity cask at the Hitchin Beer Festival. A good bitter, savoury and with a length of flavour in the mouth. All OK, but nothing special.

Half-pint, cask ale at Wakefield Labour Club. Clear copper coloured body, an off-white head leaving crocheted lacing on the glass. Moderate smell of bread and caramel malts. The flavour character has got moments of bread and biscuit. Bittersweet endnotes. Decent Brit bitter. (Wakefield pub crawl wit ManVsBeer 04.07.2019).

Handpump at Cask Pub and Kitchen in London. Dark copper clear pour, tick ivory foamy head leaving drafts on the glass. Nose: traces of almond cookie, macerated fruit, bread. Mouth: session soul with much bread crust and a hoppy spicy finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
