Half of gravity cask at the Hitchin Beer Festival. A good bitter, savoury and with a length of flavour in the mouth. All OK, but nothing special.

Half-pint, cask ale at Wakefield Labour Club. Clear copper coloured body, an off-white head leaving crocheted lacing on the glass. Moderate smell of bread and caramel malts. The flavour character has got moments of bread and biscuit. Bittersweet endnotes. Decent Brit bitter. (Wakefield pub crawl wit ManVsBeer 04.07.2019).

Taste comprises light tobacco, brown bread, straw, fruit loaf, raisins. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with an earthy bitter linger. Decent for style.
