Appearance is ruby red, with a creamy red-tinged white head. Aroma is blackcurrant, fruity notes, hop hints, more berry fruit. Taste is tart fruit, blackcurrant, apple, fruit crumble. A little bit ‘stodgy’ at the end.

Nice blackcurrant tartness, but nothing in the way of IPA in any guise.

330ml can, drank at home on 7th April 2019. Couldn't take to this beer at all. Pours a hazy purple colour, as others have said, Ribenna like in looks, the head a pink affair. Aroma is Blackcurrent heavy with the taste also leaning towards a Blackcurrent squash with a light tartness giving it a sour feel. Not my thing at all. Scored objectively.

[33cl can from the Beer52 selection for February.] A hazy Ribenna coloured pour with a dense pink head; oddly fruity aroma; tart berry fruit taste, with blackcurrant and also some raspberry; and a silky mouthfeel due to the lactic acid; then a sour fruity finish leaving the mouth dry. Certainly different.
