Amazingly I don’t seem to have any record of having drunk this beer before – so not since 2012 at the latest. Cask at Sun Inn, Stafford. Pours a reddish brown with a medium off-white head. Traditional hops and malt vie for supremacy in the aroma – with some nutty characteristics in there too. Has a creamy texture and is Initially sweet and malty in the mouth with hints of almond. Later hops start coming through with a side order of bread rolls – giving an overall effect similar to Werthers Original sweets. Finish is quite bitter. Quite nice – I will certainly drink this again.

Bottle. Amber with a small light beige head that doesn't last. 3- Aroma of peach, breadcrust, roast, caramel. Medium bodied, lowish carbonation. A depth and balance of flavour that works really well - sweet, fruity, roasty and bitter.
