A triple threat of Summit, Columbus and Citra hops provide a mellow bitterness with strong passion fruit and citrus aromas.

Cask at the Back of Beyond (JDW), Reading. Pale amber with a scummy looking cream head; aroma of fresh grapefruit; big tropical fruit taste, with passion fruit to start then a clean grapefruity bitterness; and a mellow and warming finish. Good stuff!

On tap at The Grapes, Oxford, Tuesday 10th March 2015 Pours mid gold with a white rim of bubbles. As expected this was always going to be a bit wimpy in comparison to the Colossus but actually it is a jolly decent Pale Ale, steady bitterness, perhaps not quite as crisp as I would like but dry, citrussy a good beer.
