In 2014, Damm set up a project with Prades town council, Friends of Prades Mountains Association and Prades Cooperative to study the feasibility of producing mediterranean hops. The climate and the type of terrain are very similar to the world's most important hop producing regions. August 2017 saw our first harvest. COMPLOT is our first MEDITERRANEAN IPA. A complex recipe, which, in addition to Nugget hops from Prades, uses 7 other hops. A very hoppy, bitter beer, with hints of fresh citrus and ripe fruit.

0,33 l bottle. Pours hazy deep yellow with big, frothy, lasting off white head. Aroma of tropical fruit and citra cat piss hits hard, but also fades quickly. Minimal malt base. Taste is medium sweet and just bitter enough to balance it out. Flavor has more citrus notes and some caramel.. Finish is medium long, pleasantly bitter. Nice drinker, but nothing to write home about.

Coming from this monster of Estrella damm, I was pleasantly surprised with this ipa, preparing my pizza dough, refreshing one, dry and mineral, dry malt, citrus, bitter with a little touch of resinous at the final. I have bought it at the corte inglés, Sevilla, drinking it at Epalinges, 21.11.20

Bottle with lunch. Still on my macro-chugging holiday rampage, sorry not sorry. This one’s not even too bad funnily, clean, perhaps a touch too heavy on malts (at least it lastes like actual grains) and too shy on hops, but this was to be expected tbh.

Bottiglia. Al naso arrivano impressioni di luppolo. La finezza olfattiva è normale e la maniera in cui permane è apprezzabile. Il cappello di schiuma resiste abbastanza. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana media. Il liquido appare cristallino. La frizzantezza si presenta sotto forma di perlage costituito da bollicine medio-fini. Il colore è ambrato scarico. Il corpo è strutturato. L'amaro è carico. La forza gustativa è elevata. La continuità gustativa è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano luppolate. Il finale è amarognolo. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. Il tetto della bocca riconosce note di miele, frutta secca, luppolo, un accenno di resinoso quasi balsamico, agrumi, pompelmo, ananas, the nero e tabacco.

0, 33 boks fra Carrefour Nerja: lett uklar gylden med ok skum. Fin aroma og god smak, ikke minst takket være de åtte ulike humlene som er benyttet (selv om det gir litt fornemmelse av lapskaus) og som maltkroppen faktisk bærer. Kitty er også fornøyd her på balconasen før vi skal ned til middagsbuffeten.

Lime & lemonade aroma.
Medium bodied, lightly carbonated with a dry back.
