"Hofbrauhaus Berchtesgaden Böckei", Fläschchen von Liebick, verkostet 17.6.2025 im Direktvergleich mit dem Hellen Bock aus Ettal. - Orangegold, klar. - In der Nase bocktypisch dichtes aber nicht klebriges helles Malz mit feiner Malzsüße und mild-aromatischer zitroniger Hopfung, die sich mit der feinen Süße und einem Hauch Honig angenehm verbindet. - Antrunk massiv und schwer hellmalzig, ein wenig plump, von mächtiger aber gedämpfter Süße. Die herbale und matt zitrusbittere Hopfung ist beträchtlich, wirkt aber ein wenig stumpf - hier macht sich der Hopfenextrakt bemerkbar. Milder rezent, vollmundig; solide kaschierter Alkohol. Im Abgang matte Hopfenherbe. - Solide malzschwerer aber ein wenig plumper heller Bock.

Bottle 0,.33ltr: Clear golden colored brew with an pretty sweet taste and their is some faint burn of alcohol. Hints of caramel and sour apple combined. Bought it under its alias Böckei.

Gold with a frothy, white head. Understated aroma promises metals, pepper, grains. Taste is metallic bitter the whole way through. Medium-bodied, moderate carbonation. The 6.7% is well hidden, but that’s about the only positive thing I can say about this unlikable mess.

Bottle, sold as Boeckei. Golden color. Butter and caramel in the soft floral aroma. Malty, just a bit sweetish, floral buttery flavor.

Bottle @ Nuchtere Noorden Tasting shared with Caesar, ShivanDragon and MaartenRF10. Clear yellow golden color, average sized white head. Smell and taste malts, sweetish, a bit ashy somehow, ashy bitter. Mwah. 6-3-6-3-11.

(bottle, 33cl) Clear, golden colour with a medium-sized and slightly off-white foamy head. Slightly bready cara-malty aroma with herbal and slightly metallic hops. Moderately sweet flavour, medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Bready and slightly strawy malty taste with hints of caramel and herbal accents; sweet and slightly bitter hoppy finish with a tinge of booze and metal shining through. Drinkable but also average Heller Bock. 24.II.14
