Cask at Smithfield, Derby. Pours a slightly hazy golden amber with a small off-white head and good acing. The aroma has malts, floral hops and oranges plus some hints of pine. In the mouth it is initially sweet but bitterness soon becomes evident. Flavour has traditional hops, apricots, tannins and traces of citrus. Alcoholic strength becomes noticeable later. Finish is decidedly dry. This is quite nice.

Pigs Ear. Cask. A very light haze on this gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Light smooth pale malts, a nice light creamy sweetness. Good hoppage. Bright semi ripe citrus, resinous tangerine and mandarin, trace of lemon. Crisp pine and a touch of hop spice. Light semi dry finish. Flavoursome!

Gravity cask at Pigs Ear 2023, day 1 - London. Pours clear honey-gold with a foamy, white head. Light to medium sweet flavour with. It’s of ripening citrus fruits, mild piney notes, lightly toasted malts. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Decent balance to finish. Quite drinkable.

Rocky white head stayed on an unclear light amber coloured still body. Faint malt, light hops & spicy aroma. Medium bodied, soft over the tongue with a cloying back. Well balanced tasting with fruity hops, light malt, spices & tea tastes with a peppery finish. Straightforward & tasty.

Can from Honest Brew. It pours hazy golden - orange with a thick, foamy white cap. The aroma is sweet, juicy, fresh, apricot, peach, mango, papaya, tangerine, candy and brioche. The taste is dry, bitter, pithy, zesty, zingy, floury bread, chalky, grass, tangerine, apricot, brioche and sponge cake with some dryness and alcohol ating through the finish. Medium body and foamy carbonation. Great aroma to this. Taste is a bit chalky maybe, but it is solid gear nonethless.
