Brewed as a paradox. We wanted to brew a beer that utilised different mashing mechanisms to create a full bodied, low abv hop bomb.
Specs:
Malts: Pale, Melanoidin, Special B, Vienna & CaraRed
Hops: Chinook, Citra, Columbus & Mosaic

Can from Tick Beer. Appearance - murky yellow to brown, creamy textured snow white head. Nose - pine, lime pith and brown bread. Taste - bread and lime. Palate - light bodied, creamy middle and a malty finish which is a wee bit sweeter than ideal. Overall - ok.

Delivered from ASDA and drunk during the lockdown. Golden amber, clear with a little wisp on white head. Aroma of iced tea, some sweet spice, a touch of papaya. Bittersweet taste with some sour medicinal notes in the finish. Boiled sweet, candied orange peel and sarsaparilla in the aftertaste. Very simple and basic, the low ABV shows through. However it's a little bit different from your run-of-the-mill amber so worth trying.

Can 330ml (LFB)
Amber colour, big cloudy off-white/reddish head and lace. Aroma has caramalt and perfumic hops. Light-bodied. A bit of breadyness, caramel and then some flowery hops. A bit watery finish but nice solid brew for this ABV.

13/6/2018. Can at the Newcastle Tap. 3.5% abv. Pours bright amber with a small just off-white head. Aroma of caramel, hops, malt, rye, pine, veg, herbs and fruit. Medium to heavy sweetness, light bitterness. Light body, thin texture, average carbonation. Miss for me this one.
